Oahu #1: Hands down who didn't expect Hawaii to be my favourite? I still haven't been to a place that I would put over Oahu. It was just magical and I miss it tons! I just love the variety between relaxing on the beach, being active with surfing or hiking to have a great view over Oahu! I recommend anyone to go!
Los Angeles #3: Los Angeles can be very pretty if you are in the right area. You have to be careful in Downtown and should avoid some streets there. Otherwise Los Angeles is beautiful with all the Canyons, Beaches and I especially liked Santa Monica (although it's not technically Los Angeles but belongs to Los Angeles County).
Seattle #4: I had a lot of luck when I visited Seattle because it didn't rain. So again that might influence my opinion, same as in Chicago, since for m the weather plays a big role how I like a place. Seattle is pretty to stroll around at the Pike Place Market or to go to the water front. Downtown is also very nice and Capitol Hill is a cool place to hangout!
New York #5: It was never my big dream to go to NYC as for most people (at least in Europe). I come from a small village in Germany and I just expected that it would be too big and too hecitical for me. I like New York, but I don't love it. But I have to say I've only been there twice and both times only for like 6h so not even a full day. So I might not experienced the true New York yet and sadly I never had the chance to visit the Central Park which I think is pretty cool about NYC because not every city has a huge park in the heart of the city. And I guess I don't have to tell you that the Times Square is awesome...
San Francisco #6: San Francisco is pretty but kinda sad as well. Soooo many homeless people! Everywhere! But besides that I liked Fisherman's Wharf a lot and Alcatraz! It was really really interesting and totally worth a visit. Actually it was the best about my visit to San Francisco! Downtown is nice as well and I like that the city is hilly!
